Job Title: Head of Marketing
Job Type: Contract initially
Location: Oxford, UK
Purpose of Role:
-To lead bChannels’ marketing function to support growth in both the existing solutions business and the new ‘express’ incubator product business.
-To create and execute marketing campaigns that build a pipeline that supports revenue growth target. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of bChannels’ marketing and lead generation strategy, priorities, marketing materials, and public relations activities, both external and internal.
-To ensure clear articulation of bChannels’ desired brand image and market position.
Key Responsibilities: -Design and implement go-to-market strategies with effective short, medium and long-term marketing action plans for the existing solutions business and the new express business.
-Deliver compound annual growth rates in revenue of at least 15% for solutions and to support the rapid growth of the new express business in 2018.
-Be highly driven in the hands-on delivery of the action plans through a combination of existing best practice methodology, brought by the candidate, and interaction with our senior management in the regions.
Skills Needed:
The successful Head of Marketing will be able to demonstrate they are an outstanding and well-rounded marketing professional, either at CMO or Marketing Director Level. You will be seeking to work in a fast paced, high growth and entrepreneurial B2B business where you will comfortably move from strategic thinking to being hands-on delivery.
It is important that the candidate has the marketing experience of working in both a solutions and product business simultaneously. The current need is that the senior marketing role serves to differentiate and compliment the two business services using the bChannels brand.
Essential:
-Experience in a senior marketing role within product and solutions focused businesses, ideally at a global level.
-Proven track record of developing strategic marketing programs
-Previous experience leading and developing a marketing function
-Sound financial and budgetary management and solid commercial acumen
-Excellent presentation and communication skills
-A team player who can lead by example, with high accountability for their actions
-Ability to work autonomously, delegate, prioritise and manage a considerable workload
-Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail
-The ability to adapt to a changing business and market place
-Passion for innovation, latest best practice and trends
-Collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management
